About Leith Street Loans

The Library has two off-campus storage buildings, collectively known as Leith Lending which hold older or less used material. Both buildings are located south of the campus on Leith Street.

Browsing is available by appointment:

Requesting Loans

You can use the callslip facility on the library catalogue to request items from storage (109 & 137 Leith St.) without having to go there. Items will normally be available for collection from your selected pick-up location within 24 hours. Please use the form Library Scan Request form for journal articles and book chapters.

To Callslip for Loans:

  1. Search for the item on the library catalogue > Request item > Login > Callslip
  2. Call-slipped items will be available for pickup within two working days.
  3. There are no charges for loans.

Requesting scans of journal articles and book chapters

Use the Library Scan Request form.

Students: Scanned PDF attachments cost 10c per page. Paid from your library ID card. If insufficient funds, item will be sent to the 'Hold' shelf at the Central Library.

Staff: there is no charge for PDF attachments.

Items are delivered within two working days.
